Over the last year with market conditions and sourcing issues being so challenging, it has been of utmost importance for Charcroft to ensure we are able to offer as wide a selection of solutions as possible to our customers. This is reflected in both our activities as a sales team – by constantly seeking out best lead times, sourcing alternatives, and liaising with multiple channels of procurement – and our evolution as a distributor to ensure we have as many options available for our customers as possible.

This commitment to our customers is evident in the extension of our product offering. The last year has seen Charcroft expand and develop our existing portfolio of products & services for Space, Rail, Industrial, Aerospace and Military applications, through the addition of Nexeya, AEM and Euroquartz to our franchises. Coupled with Kemet’s acquisition of Tokin, which also enables us to expand our range of electronic component products, including sensors, which we were able to showcase at the Sensors & Instrumentation show last month.

ur exclusive UK and Ireland franchised distributor and representation agreement with NEXEYA enables us to offer key products, capability & services with extended life support and high value support services into a range of mission critical applications. NEXEYA provide consulting, design, manufacture, & support services to specialized, high-criticality systems, along with being at the cutting edge of mission-management (C4S, ISR) systems.

Charcroft are also now fully franchised for the full Euroquartz range of products. Euroquartz has several specialist product areas, particularly in the design and manufacture of custom electronic filters, high reliability oscillators for defence related applications and radiation tolerant oscillators for high-altitude aerospace and space satellite applications.

Charcroft’s exclusive distribution franchise agreement with AEM serves to provide our customers with greater choice and enable our Product Specialists to offer a more complete solution for Space-grade systems. AEM’s range includes the only solid body, current-limiting fuses with QPL listing and high-reliability ferrite chip beads designed for applications in which replacement is not an option. These components are used extensively in military and commercial satellites and in manned space vehicles.

These exciting new additions to Charcroft’s portfolio will enable us to provide our customers with greater choice and more complete solutions.
