Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team at our head office in Llanwrtyd Wells. This role plays a key part in supporting both customers and the wider sales team, by managing customer enquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining strong relationships with accounts.

You will be the point of contact for a portfolio of customers, handling day-to-day communication and providing administrative support to ensure a high level of service is consistently delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Act as a key point of contact for assigned customer accounts, responding to queries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
Quote Management: Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on customer requirements, liaising with suppliers and the wider sales team as needed.
Order Processing: Enter customer orders into the system, ensure accuracy of data, and follow up with relevant departments to track progress.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, supporting account retention and satisfaction.
Sales Support: Work closely with internal and external sales colleagues to support the wider commercial team in meeting objectives.
System Updates: Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders, and customer information in IT systems.
Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve any issues related to deliveries, pricing discrepancies, or order fulfilment, ensuring clear communication throughout.
Team Collaboration: Support cross-functional collaboration with purchasing, product management, and warehouse teams as needed.

Candidate Profile

Essential:
• Previous experience in a customer service or sales administration role
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident communicator with a strong customer-focused approach.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling data and pricing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook, Word).

Desirable:
• Experience working in the electronics, manufacturing, or distribution sector.
• Basic product knowledge in passive, electromechanical, or high-reliability components (training will be provided).
