Job Title: Marketing, Events & Communications Coordinator

Charcroft Electronics is seeking an organised and proactive Marketing, Events & Communications Coordinator to support the promotion of our products, services, manufacturing capabilities and supplier partnerships.
This varied role will focus on coordinating exhibitions, conferences, supplier activities, customer communications, social media content and company events, whilst working closely with our Business Development Managers, Directors, suppliers and external marketing partners.
The successful candidate will help ensure Charcroft maintains a professional and visible presence within the electronics industry, supporting both business development activities and wider company communications.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Exhibitions
• Coordinate Charcroft's participation in exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and industry events.
• Organise stand logistics, promotional materials, travel and accommodation arrangements.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding joint exhibitions, sponsorship opportunities and event participation.
• Support customer invitations and attendance at events.
• Coordinate post-event communications and follow-up activities.
• Maintain exhibition equipment, promotional stock and event materials.
• Coordinate marketing activities and campaigns in conjunction with internal teams and external marketing partners.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of newsletters, product updates and company communications.
• Gather and coordinate content relating to supplier news, product launches, customer successes and company activities.
• Support the promotion of Charcroft's manufacturing, distribution and engineering capabilities.
• Assist with internal communications and company announcements.
• Coordinate content for social media platforms, including LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
• Work with internal IT and external marketing resources to ensure website content remains current and accurate.
• Support the publication of company news, event updates and supplier information.
• Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to increase Charcroft's visibility.
• Work closely with suppliers to obtain product information, marketing materials and promotional content.
• Support supplier visits, training sessions and customer events.
• Assist Business Development Managers with marketing collateral and promotional activities.
• Help raise awareness of Charcroft's products, franchises and services across target markets.
• Maintain marketing databases, contact lists and event records.
• Monitor stocks of promotional items, literature and exhibition materials.
• Assist with marketing budgets and expenditure tracking.
• Provide administrative support for marketing, communications and event activities.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical
Location: Wrexham
Contract: Full Time (Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 11:30am), Part time also considered.
Charcroft Electronics is a leading manufacturer and distributor of electronic components, supplying customers across aerospace, defence, medical, industrial, rail and other high-reliability sectors.
From our manufacturing facility in Llay, Wrexham, we manufacture specialist film capacitors for industrial and audio applications. We are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Maintenance Engineer to support our production operations and ensure the continued reliability and performance of our manufacturing equipment.
The RoleThe role is predominantly mechanical, with some electrical fault-finding and maintenance responsibilities. You will be responsible for maintaining high-speed winding machines and a variety of specialist manufacturing equipment used in capacitor production.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, continuous improvement and working closely with production teams in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on production machinery and equipment
• Assist with electrical fault finding and basic electrical repairs
• Maintain, repair and improve high-speed winding machines
• Minimise downtime and support efficient production operations
• Work closely with production teams to improve machine performance and reliability
• Assist with machinery upgrades, installations and improvement projects
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
• Support production activities when required
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
About You
The successful candidate will have:
• Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and practical skills
• Basic to intermediate electrical fault-finding ability
• Experience maintaining manufacturing or production equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills & Experience:

Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to support and develop customer relationships across the UK, whilst acting as a key technical resource for both customers and the wider Charcroft sales team.
This role focuses on supporting design-in activity, identifying and developing new opportunities, providing technical guidance on component selection and applications, and helping convert opportunities into long-term business through a consultative, solutions-led approach.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal sales, product specialists, in-house engineering and our franchised manufacturers, to support technically demanding applications and drive design-in opportunities across multiple sectors.
The position would suit someone with a strong technical electronic or electrical-engineering background, with experience in specifying electronic components, who is seeking a customer-facing technical support role; building relationships, finding opportunities and working closely with engineering teams and procurement functions.

•Experience supporting customer design activity and technical opportunity development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, procurement, and commercial stakeholders.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify valuable opportunities, support price negotiations, and opportunity conversion.
• Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating closely with wider teams.
• Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
