The HA72L series of moulded inductors have been designed with the latest composite moulded core materials to maximise inductance, temperature performance and saturation current while minimising DC resistance and physical size. The result is a compact, surface mount component that operates in demanding environments with saturation currents up to 80 amps.
The HA66 series is a low profile, low loss, ferrite-based inductor designed with a wide range of inductances and package sizes. It is very compact, magnetically shielded, and has low DC resistance and high saturation current. This part is able to meet an operating temperature of 155°C. It is suited for high power density applications where size is critical. This series is ideal for high efficiency DC-DC converters using high switching frequencies to 3MHz as well as EMI and low pass DC filter. This part is AEC-Q200 certified, assuring performance and reliability levels that automotive applications and high reliability industrial applications demand.
The HA19 common mode choke is designed specifically for noise suppression applications found in the growth and expansion of new generation vehicles such as electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHVs). The HA19 series offer high efficiency and excellent current handling in a rugged construction. It is mechanically robust and features low DC resistance and low temperature rise performance. HA19 is ideal for high efficiency electric power steering EMI applications where size and AEC-Q200 certification is critical.
The HA78D series of coupled inductors was designed especially for use in a variety of circuits, including Flyback, multi-output buck, SEPIC and ZETA application. Its high leakage inductance makes it ideal for SEPIC applications; the loosely coupled winding (K=0.8) improves SEPIC efficiency by reducing circulating current and providing 2x the ripple current reduction of separate inductors. These inductors offer high efficiency and excellent current handling in a rugged environment. It is ideal for high frequency DC-DC converters and VRM/VRD applications due to its low loss ferrite core and high temperature rating of 155°C. The HA78D works well in high stress environments and is AEC-Q200 certified for the automotive market. The HA78D can also be used as 2 single inductors connected in a series, in parallel, or as a common mode choke (filter inductor) for EMI noise reduction.
Applications include Industrial, Medical and Transportation
The PHS04 series is a rotary position sensor that features a small footprint, smooth operation, and a 300,000 life cycle. Some applications are game controllers and robot joint angle controls.
The PHS11 series is a rotary position sensor that features dust proof construction, an ultra thin size, and a life cycle of 1 million cycles. Some applications are HVAC sensors and motor drive units.
The MagnePot rotary position sensor is a new non-contacting multi-turn rotary position sensor available in three, five, and ten turn models. Various output options are available. Non-contacting technology provides consistent performance over a significantly extended life.
January 15, 2016, - TT Electronics today announced the global market introduction of its MagnePot® 8150 Series.
The MagnePot® 8150 Series is a family of high-performance multi-turn non-contacting rotary position sensors. They are designed to reliably operate over a minimum of 10 million shaft rotations with no signal output degradation. The Series combines the very latest in Hall Effect non-contacting sensing technology and high-performance internal bearing design. This combination results in a rotary position sensor with exceptional performance reliability. The non-contacting sensing technology also facilitates clean, ratiometric absolute position outputs across multiple turns without sliding contact noise.
Units are available in a choice of three, five or ten turns. Each is powered via a 5Vdc supply voltage. Ratiometric output range is from 4% to 96% of supply with a 12mA maximum current rating. MagnePott® 8150 Series models also feature ±0.50% independent linearity as standard, with optional improvement to ±0.25%. Standard operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C. Additional options include alternative output voltages, servo mounts, non-linear outputs, IP50 or IP66 ingress protection, and severe environment versions. Severe service models further incorporate sealed shafts and rear lids. All such modifications and options may be easily accommodated with competitive lead times.
Typical applications for the MagnePott® 8150 Series include industrial joystick controls; factory and laboratory automation; advanced manufacturing; robotic positioning; motion control feedback; medical diagnostic equipment positioning; aircraft flight and panel controls; and vision system positioning feedback.
24 September 2013: TT electronics has launched the next generation of its moulded inductor devices. The HM72E and HA72E are engineered for high performance and cost effectiveness and will utilise proprietary blends of alloy core materials that are optimised for high temperature stability, high dc bias capability, low core losses as well as minimising oxidation.
Designers of industrial and automotive DC/DC converters and other power applications where high power density is a requirement will benefit from the rust resistant over-moulded construction and the wide operating temperature rating. The new moulded inductors are operational from -40oC to +155oC making them ideal for powertrain applications where environmental conditions are demanding.
Both devices are targeted at designers who require a buck, boost or buck-boost inductor for voltage regulation at fast switching frequencies up to 3MHz but also need to save space. Additionally, the HA72E series is qualified to AEC-Q200 certification for automotive applications. Further features of the range include DC bias current of up to 45A and inductance levels ranging from 0.10uH to 33uH at a maximum dimension of 6.8 x 7.3 x 3mm (LxWxH).
The HM72E and HA72E are available in tape and reel packaging. They both have a lead time of approximately 10-12 weeks.
