ULW Series Resistors
ULW series wire-wound resistors overcome the problems associated with conventional flameproof resistors which can experience delays in fusing resulting in momentary loud flashovers. The UL-recognised ULW resistors, however, eliminate flashovers to fuse safely and silently, normally in a fraction of a second, and will not burn under any applied temperature or power overload condition.
Available in surface-mount or standard through-hole packages, resistance values range from 10 to 100Ω, with power ratings of 2W, 3W and 4W. ULW series resistors are designed to withstand inrush and surge conditions, operate in temperatures from -55 to +155°C and are classified to climatic category 55/200/56 according to IEC 68-1.

PWC Resistors
Compared to conventional thick-film resistors, the PWC series provides 50% more power in the standard 0805, 1206, 2010 and 2512 case sizes without sacrificing surge and voltage withstand performance. With power ratings of 0.125W, 0.33W, 0.75W and 1.5W, these resistors reduce space and cost, and enhance stability, in applications with demanding surge and pulse requirements. With limiting element voltages of 400V and 500V, the 2010- and 2512-cased PWC resistors also double the working voltage compared to conventional chip alternatives. Typical applications include power supplies, circuit protection devices portable battery chargers, motor controls and line-powered equipment,

HVP04 Planar Resistor
With a 12.7x2mm footprint HVP04 planar resistor provides a 20% saving on board-space when replacing competitor devices, whilst the HVP06 is a high-reliability drop-in replacement. The 2kV HVP04 offers resistance values from 1K to 250M and the 5kV HVP06 is available in values from 1K5 to 500M. Applications for the HVP series include image intensifiers for night vision equipment, industrial test equipment, and medical applications in portable defibrillators and power supplies for x-rays. The 2kV and 5kV versions are SAMPLING NOW with additional versions to 20kV in development. TT electronics’ combination of the IRC and Welwyn offers one of the most comprehensive ranges of high-voltage resistors. The range provides safety in discharge, reliability in balancing and accuracy in measurement across the high-voltage range from 1 to 100kV.
