More Information

September 2009

Cornell Dubilier announces availability of type 944U high-current film capacitors for dc filtering applications up to 1400 Vdc. Packaged in a low profile cylindrical black plastic case, it has earned the nickname of “hockey puck” style capacitor.

Cornell Dubilier announces availability of type 945U medium-power film capacitors for dc filtering. It’s an excellent choice for DC-link inverter applications needing lower bus capacitance, high ripple current with long life and reliability.

Cornell Dubilier announces availability of types SPCX and SPSX surface mount aluminum polymer capacitors for DC/DC converter input and output applications. Both series are designed to handle up to 260°C solder temperatures used in the manufacture ROHS compliant circuit boards.

October 2007 - Cornell Dubilier MLC and RF chip capacitors pass flex tests

Cornell Dubilier’s Type MCM & MIN surface-mount multilayer-ceramic (MLC) RF clad capacitors and Type MC & MCH RF chip capacitors have passed a guaranteed minimum of 5 mm flexure using the stringent Automotive Electronics Council test procedure AEC-Q200, Method 005. These reliable MLC capacitors allow the use of larger physical sizes required for high voltage, high Q capacitors in high frequency applications. The MC & MCH RF chip capacitors have also successfully passed JIS C 5102 8.11 bend tests, exhibiting zero failures at 2 mm deflection.
