Charcroft Electronics is a privately-owned specialist distributor of commercial, BS/CECC and Mil-Std passive and interconnect components and manufacturer of leaded and surface-mount Bulk Metal® Foil Vishay-approved precision resistors and BS/CECC-approved radial multilayer ceramic capacitors. Charcroft Electronics is located in a building whose origins date back to c1535, on the banks of the River Irfon in Llanwrtyd Wells, the smallest town in Great Britain. In contrast to its past history as a spa town, when hundreds flocked to take the ‘waters’ for their ‘medicinal effects’, the area is now more well known for its pony trekking, mountain biking, walking and bird watching together with its annual Man v Horse competition, Beer Festival and World Bog Snorkelling Championship.		Having moved to Mid-Wales in 1985 after spending eleven years in Suffolk, where the company was formed, Charcroft now enjoys fully renovated offices and stores in one of the most idyllic locations in the country, with the latest computer software and systems. Our BS9000 and CECC approved manufacturing facility now includes silver mica as well as ceramic capacitors and precision resistors. Charcroft also assembles custom connectors with the option of flying-leads and offers an express manufacturing service, Precision Express®, together with an in-house taping and reeling facility for prototype and pre-production quantities. We have distribution approval to BS9000, IECQCECC and BS EN ISO9001:2000 and with our U.S.A. office based in South Carolina, Charcroft Electronics can meet all your global requirements for Passives, Interconnect and Emech.
