The HiQ-CBR Series features a robust and exceptionally stable copper base metal electrode dielectric system that provides excellent low loss performance (high Q). These devices are suitable for many circuit applications including radio frequency (RF) power amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, low noise amplifiers, filter networks, antenna tuning, timing circuits, delay lines, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) coils.

The CAR, built on Vishay´s Bulk Metal® Z-foil technology, provides a combination of low noise and low inductance /capacitance, making it unrivalled for applications requiring distortion-free properties. It's special "naked Z-foil resistor" design, without case or encapsulation, adds an additional dimension for reducing signal distortion and increasing clarity in signal processing. The SCAR also uses Vishay´s Bulk Metal® Z-foil technology and offers all the features of the leaded CAR but in a surface mount version with wrap around terminations.
