SAMPLING NOW: Multi-voltage ELEDs replace BA9 & E10 bulbs Automotive crash switch can trigger GPS Compact blower with environmental coating
New multi-voltage Edge-emitting LEDs (ELEDs) from Oxley provide 100,000 hours mean-time between failure as replacements for BA9 and E10 incandescent bulbs in push-button switches and panel instrumentation for rail, power, oil and gas applications.
Operating from 12V to 60V dc/ac, these LEDs provide 22cd and 27cd @20mA for the warm white and white versions respectively. A machined, flat top ensures true and even illumination behind the bezel which eliminates the hot spot often associated with earlier, more directional LEDs. The warm white version accurately mimics the colour of incandescent bulbs and successfully filters through all push-button switch colours including the difficult yellows and reds. Oxley ELEDs are sampling now in warm white and white, with AlGaAs red, yellow, blue and green versions imminent.
