Direct-insertion pins for high- or low-current DC-DC converters
Direct-mounting with Wearnes Cambion polygon pins eliminates damage to the PCB of DC-DC converters and allows the pins to be reflow soldered as part of the standard surface-mount process. The pin shoulders define a seated height and optional vented shoulders can eliminate voids by allowing complete solder-fill of the plated-through-hole (PTH). The pins are RoHS compliant, manufactured in Brass for low-current applications and Tellurium Copper for higher currents, typically over 50A. A range of standard or custom sizes are available, with Gold plating for optimum reliability with lead-free processes.

High-density ultra-long-life capacitors for holdup and filtering
Flatpack aluminum electrolytic capacitors provide high-density storage in power hold-up applications for DSCC and other long lifetime, RoHS-exempt applications. Housed in compact packages with a half-inch profile and lengths from 1.5 inches to 3.0 inches, these flatpacks offer significantly higher power-density than screw-terminal packages. They can be heat-sinked to double their rated ripple capacity and both package options offer capacitance values up to 47,000 μF. The aluminum-housed MLP operates up to 85˚C with rated voltages up to 450 Vdc. The stainless steel-case housed MLS operates to 125˚C with rated voltages up to 250Vdc.

Highest-stability resistors screened for demanding environments
Screening options in accordance with EEE-INST-002, DSCC, and EPPL are now available on Vishay Bulk Metal® Z Foil surface-mount chip resistors in case sizes from 0603 to 2512. Standard devices achieve exceptional long-term stability of ±0.005% (50 ppm), with a typical TCR of ±0.2 ppm/°C and a Power Coefficient of Resistance (PCR) of down to ±5 ppm at rated power. Post-manufacture screening options can deliver a virtually flat load-life curve from time zero, and minimised response to temperature cycling and high temperature exposure. The devices can withstand electrostatic discharges up to 25 kV, and a 100-cycle thermal shock with a shift of <20 ppm, and feature a thermal stabilisation time, to a few ppm of steady-state value, of <1 second.

Vishay Foil resistors are not restricted to standard values and can be specified to 'as-required' values (e.g. 1.2345 k vs. 1k) at no extra cost or delivery time.
