New 2kV and 5kV planar resistors save space
The new HVP series of planar resistors from TT electronics combines high voltage ratings of 2kV and 5kV with a compact footprint to reduce space in medical, industrial and defence applications. With a 12.7x2mm footprint the HVP04 provides a 20% saving on board-space when replacing competitor devices, whilst the HVP06 is a high-reliability drop-in replacement. The 2kV HVP04 offers resistance values from 1K to 250M and the 5kV HVP06 is available in values from 1K5 to 500M.

Applications for the HVP series include image intensifiers for night vision equipment, industrial test equipment, and medical applications in portable defibrillators and power supplies for x-rays. The 2kV and 5kV versions are SAMPLING NOW with additional versions to 20kV in development.

Surface-mount, stacked and radial MLCCs handle 200˚C
AMC’s high-temperature, T series multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) offer a choice of switch-mode stacked and surface-mount packages rated for operation up to 200˚C and cased radial packages up to 250˚C.

A wide range of case sizes in J & L surface-mount, or through-hole packages, gives a choice of mechanical stress-relief options for easier handling and processing. Surface-mount versions provide maximum capacitance values from 10pF to 1.0μF; the stacked versions are available with capacitance values from 100pF to 340μF across voltages from 50V to 200V. The 200˚C radial MLCCs provide voltages from 25V to 4kV, whilst the 250˚C radial devices offer capacitance values up to 3.9μF at 50V, and up to 2.7μF at 100V. All versions can be customised for specific applications including other voltages and capacitance values.

Precision MLCCs resist moisture and vibration
VK series multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) combine precision tolerances with long-life in harsh industrial or defence environments. Rated at up to 200V, VK series MLCCs comply with the IEC 68 environmental classification and are damp-heat tested for 56 days and over a temperature range of -55 to +125˚C. RoHS-exempt and RoHS-compliant versions are available with tolerances down to ±1% for commercial and BS9075 N0023/F0002 devices or down to ±5% with qualification to CECC 30601-009.

Suitable for use in new designs in industrial control or power supplies, as well as defence applications, VK MLCCs are also drop-in replacement for the AVX MR05/06, MIL-spec CK05/06 and Syfer 8123Z / 8133Z series.
