Auto-crimp design cuts connector assembly costs
An innovative, patent-pending contact design in Harwin’s high-reliability Datamate Trio-Tek connectors enables automated crimping in medium- and high-volume applications. Low-cost hand-crimping tools support prototyping or lower volume production runs.

A crimp inspection window in the housing enhances quality control, while the insulation crimp barrel provides improved strain relief. Part of Harwin’s J-Tek range of 2mm Datamate connectors, the Trio-Tek series is supplied with optional jack-screws and is tested in accordance with BS 9525-F0033.

Low-cost pressure sensor for harsh HVAC/R applications
Sensata 2CP5 pressure sensors provide proven, reliable performance in demanding HVAC and refrigeration applications. Operating from a 5 Vdc power supply, the sensor provides output voltages from 0 to 5 Vdc and requires no end-user amplification. The output is ratiometric to the supply voltage, allowing users to maintain accurate sensing despite variations in the supply voltage. Housed in a brass- or zinc-plated carbon steel housing, the 2CP5 integrates a weatherproof automotive-grade connector making it suitable for vehicle air-conditioning or other harsh environments.

Naked Z-foil resistor virtually eliminates signal distortion
By replacing conventional moulding or encapsulation with a thin varnish, Charcroft through-hole CAR resistors achieve the highest level of signal purity and perceived audio clarity.

In addition to exceptionally low current noise of -40dB, the resistors provide exceptional load-life stability of ±0.01% at 70°C for 2000 hours at rated power, and a fast rise time of 1.0 ns without ringing. CAR resistors can be trimmed to any tolerance and any value within the resistance range of 10Ω to 100kΩ and are available now, with a typical lead-time of 72 hours for samples, and three weeks for standard orders.
