Flexible terminations are now available on MLCC chips with capacitance values up to 10µF with Kemet’s new FT-CAP series. Flexible terminations mitigate the risk of low-IR or short-circuit failures associated with board flex which is known to cause cracking near the terminations of ceramic capacitors.

| The X7R FT-CAP chips are available up to 10µF at voltages from 6.3V to 25V in a 1210 case, or up to 16V in a 1206 case. The 0603 and 0805 versions offer voltages from 6.3V to 200V with values up to 470nF and 2.2µF respectively. |

Charcroft’s 454 series silver mica capacitors are trimmed to a tolerance of ±1% as standard, or ±1pF under 100pF and include high-voltage versions up to 1000V at 100˚C and high-temperature versions up to 250˚C. Special selections can match customer requirements for high-frequency, high-current and pulse-forming applications. The 454 series has a capacitance range of 4pF to 0.5µF over a voltage range of 100V to 1,000V and features high Q with low capacitance change with temperature. |

With fast delivery and competitive pricing, Klixon single-phase TC devices are the smallest, lightest high-performance aircraft circuit breakers available today. The TC series may be used as replacements for alternative breakers in applications with operating temperatures as high as 121°C. The TC series is trip-free with an unusually high current-interrupting capability and breaker ratings are coordinated so that only the smallest fault is interrupted while larger circuits remain operational.
